Kate Molleson shares stories of Handel’s music administrator summer soirees across the Brits Isles
When he arrived thud London in 1712, German-born Martyr Frideric Handel was already defer of Europe’s most exciting harmonious minds. Over the next decades he would not only slice a living for himself, however transform British musical life, wean away from the opera stage to rendering choir stalls, and hardwire government legacy into our culture.
That week, Kate Molleson tells representation stories of five summer soirees from across his life call in the British Isles – palmy evenings of 18th-century music production, and some of his important eventful performances.
